Your Terms and Conditions of Use
When you, the Customer, make a purchase or place an order with me, we enter into a contract. These Terms and Conditions constitute this agreed contract between us. I may change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice, except that the ones posted on our site at the time you place the order will apply to the order in question. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Under UK law, Love Wine Merchants Limited are unable to sell alcoholic drinks for consumption by anyone under the age of 18. When you place an order, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old and that you will not provide alcohol to be consumed by anyone under the age of 18.
All wines and spirits are subject to availability at the time of your order.
Occasionally some products do go out of stock. In this event we will contact as soon as possible and either recommend a similar product or place your order on hold while stock is replenished.
We aim to get orders to you as soon as possible. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery of any order. Should the delay be longer, we will contact you to advise a delivery estimate. If you need the wine for a particular date, or before a particular date please make sure you mention when ordering. You cannot cancel your order once the goods have been dispatched. Your normal statutory rights are not affected.
Our delivery driver or courier will deliver your order goods in your hands. If you are not at home, the goods will be left in the safe drop-off place previously communicated. If you did not give such a place, the driver or courier will leave a calling card asking you to contact us or their local depot to re-arrange delivery. If, after the second attempt, the order has not been delivered then it will be returned to Love Wine and you will be asked to pay for any re-arranged delivery.
If you receive the wrong wine in your order it will be replaced or the cost refunded. If the goods are damaged or broken at time of delivery then please do not accept them but ask the driver to return them to Love Wine. If you discover a problem after the driver has left then please contact Love Wine immediately by telephone on 01993 813220 or email@example.com so that a replacement may be discussed. If the products are damaged please retain all packaging materials for possible inspection by the courier in order for Love Wine to make a claim. If the courier decides not to inspect I will inform you so that you can dispose of the package.
All refunds will be paid within 30 days of cancellation. Any credit issued to you for any reason must be used within one year from the date that the credit was issued and may only be used for future purchases. Any credit or portion of credit not used within the one (1) year period will expire.
Love wine is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. All the personal information and contact details will only be used in communication between you as a customer and Love Wine. Financial information and Credit /Debit card details are processed through a secure server operated by our commercial bankers to which we have no access and are not stored on any equipment operated in your purchase transaction. Under data protection we are denighed any access to this information by our bank.
These terms and conditions will be governed by the law of England and Wales.
